Program History
Edgerton High School's Multimedia program started in 2001 with 2 sections sharing 3 Macs and 20 pc's. Video production became a major part of the program in 2002 when the district was able to establish an Educational Access channel with Charter Communications. The access channel opened the doors for student produced productions like Tider Talk. The Elm Tech club was established to give the students a chance to develop their skills better. The club started with 10 members and now has around 25 students that are active in the development of multiple programs. The program now has 7 sections with 8 mac student workstations and 24 pc student workstations.
